Learn more about Fab Academy, the program where you will learn how to fabricate almost anything. We are organizing this second session edition due to request of some staff members.

Fab Academy offers a distributed educational model: students learn in local workgroups (Fab Labs), with peers, experienced mentors, and machines, which are then connected globally by content sharing and video for interactive classes, forming a network of 250 students in more than 75 Fab Labs all around the world.

The course is directed by Neil Gershenfeld from MIT’s Center For Bits and Atoms and based on MIT’s rapid prototyping course: How to Make (Almost) Anything. Fab Lab Oulu staff consists on five Fab Academy experience instructors, all of them with several years of experience teaching Fab Academy.

If you want to learn more about Fab Academy, we are organizing an information event at Fab Lab Oulu on Monday (18.12.2023) at 16.00. You can also attend online.
