Have you ever wondered how Italians make their famous fresh pasta?
In this workshop, you’ll learn the secrets behind one of Italy’s most beloved culinary traditions — making pasta by hand, from scratch. Using only two simple ingredients, eggs and flour, we’ll mix, knead, roll, and shape the dough together, just like in an Italian kitchen.
No machines, no shortcuts — just the joy of creating something genuine with your own hands. Along the way, you’ll discover tips and tricks for getting the perfect texture and learn a bit about the history and regional variations of pasta in Italy.
To finish, we’ll cook and enjoy our freshly made pasta with a simple yet delicious sauce, sharing a meal in true Italian style — good food, good company, and plenty of smiles.

Please note that the main language of the event is English The event is organized by volunteer students and staff members from the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Please note that you must pre-register for the event. Due to limited capacity, we can accommodate 15 participants. We take registrations until November 16, 23.59 or until all the sports are reserved.
The University of Oulu, in collaboration with Oulu University of Applied Sciences, the Student Union of the University of Oulu, and the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, is organizing the Festival of Cultures week to celebrate our multicultural community in Oulu and promote cultural awareness.
