About the speakers:

Heidi Haanila is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Philosophy at the University of Turku, specializing in philosophy of mind within a multidisciplinary framework. Her research focuses on selfhood and consciousness, and she teaches courses on philosophy of artificial intelligence and theories of mind.

Julian Kiverstein currently is senior researcher at the Lemon Tree Interdisciplinary Center for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Philosophy at Amsterdam UMC. Trained as a philosopher of mind and neurophilosopher, his research integrates phenomenologically inspired philosophy of mind with neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry and psychotherapy.
