In Kaitera Talks 2026 esteemed speakers approach this question through different perspectives and shed light on current themes in science and research at the intersection of culture and technology. Experts invited by the University if Oulu's research units share the latest knowledge on topics of societal significance.

Wednesday 18.11. at 6 pm: Rosa Liksom - How my views on sophistication and learnedness have changed (in Finnish)
Thursday 19.11. at 6 pm: Timo Muotka - Kymmenen tuhannen virran maa (held in Finnish)
All events in the speaker series will be held in the auditorium of Oulu Lyseo Upper Secondary School (Kajaaninkatu 3, 90100 Oulu). Please note that all the talks are held in Finnish.
In 2026, traditional Pentti Kaitera seminar will be held as a series of talks that are open to the public. Kaitera Talks 2026 is part of the University of Oulu's 2026 culture programme and Oulu2026 Art&Tech week's program.
