🎯 Purpose of the Event:
To foster interaction between doctoral researchers and non-academic organisations, including companies and stakeholders. The aim is to build bridges between academia and working life, and to support researchers in exploring career opportunities beyond the university.
📌 Event Structure:
The day is divided into two sessions, and doctoral researchers are welcome to attend both:
- Morning session: Focused on presenting and discussing PhD research plans
- Afternoon session (LYHTY): Dedicated to exploring the working life relevance of doctoral training, including skills, expectations, and career pathways outside academia
👥 Who Should Attend:
All doctoral researchers and their supervisors are welcome, especially those working in the fields of natural resources and environmental sciences, to whom the event is particularly targeted. NOTE! The Morning Session is optional and especially for those who need to complete the research plan seminar course. The actual working life relevance part and bridge plan exercises are in the afternoon session (LYHTY WORKSHOP). Everyone is welcome, regardless of the stage of the dissertation! Doctoral researchers involved in Kvantum Institute projects – your participation in both sessions is warmly encouraged!
