The event will also be available online. A participation link will be published on this page before the event.

Students and staff can submit questions in advance via a Webropol form until 11 October at 23:59. The questions will be used in planning the panel discussion. When selecting topics for the panel, priority will be given to issues that are most relevant to the role and responsibilities of the rector.

The main language of the event is Finnish, but some parts may also be conducted in English.

The University of Oulu is currently recruiting a new rector. At this event, the rector candidates, selected by the Board of Directors of the University of Oulu from the open application process, will introduce themselves to the university community. Under the Finnish Universities Act, the rector is appointed by the board.
