Strategy coffees: Welcome to discuss strategy work with Rector and Development Director

During the autumn 2022 - spring 2023, representatives of the university's management are having Strategy Coffee meetings in Tellus Kontinkangas and Tellus Linnanmaa. Strategy coffees offer the opportunity to discuss our university's strategic directions and current phenomena over coffee with the rectorate and managers of different areas of responsibility.

You can come to hear more about the university's ongoing strategy update work and discuss it at the informal Strategy Coffee event with Rector Jouko Niinimäki and Development Director Johanna Bluemink on Thursday the 9th of November at 10-11 (Stage, Tellus Kontinkangas).

The aim of the current strategy update is to look at how we as a university can respond to domestic, European and global challenges. The update will follow the structure of the current strategy. The strategy consists of university-level strategic guidelines, focus areas, values and strategic development programs. The key contents of the strategy and its development programs will be reviewed and updated. Faculties, regional units and focus institutes will update their own strategies. The university community can participate in strategy work through the strategy events of its own faculty and regional unit.

Participating in the Strategy coffees event does not require pre-registration. A limited amount of coffee and tea is available.
