Registration for UniOulu Science Day 2026 has closed.
We expect a record 430 participants to the day! Warm welcome to all registered participants! To celebrate the Oulu 2026 Culture Capital year, we also welcome participation from citizens of Oulu.
The language of the event is English. The event will be held at Linnanmaa Campus.

15.45 Poster session with cocktail hour, restaurant Mustikka
University of Oulu’s early-career researchers will present their interdisciplinary research posters. The session will host 27 posters with topics ranging from AI‑guided agroforestry, genetic and population‑health research, and sustainable materials engineering to cultural anthropology, climate resilience, wireless edge intelligence, and cutting‑edge biomedical innovations, highlighting the diversity of research across the University of Oulu. Attendees will vote for the "Best Poster" which will get an award of 200 €. The voting will be open from 3.45 pm until 4.50 pm, and the Best Poster will be announced at 5 pm.
Drinks and cocktail snacks will be served until 5.30 pm.
