What our previous participants say?

“The best thing was the feeling of genuine care and connection. My kummi family made me feel that I was not alone in a new country and that I had someone to call if I needed help. This emotional security and kindness was the most valuable part of the programme for me.ertain level of commitment from both the student and the family.”

”The idea of the programme itself is excellent. It has the potential to create meaningful cultural exchanges and friendships, and it is one of the factors that made me choose the University of Oulu. The concept of connecting students with local families is very valuable and inspiring.”
