Study facilities

The University of Oulu offers versatile facilities and equipment for students, suitable for activities such as silent or group studying, as well as working on a computer. You can find study spaces in the library, Tellus, and the corridors of the Linnanmaa campus. In addition, you can book spaces for group work, for example, at Hilla Garden and the PSOAS Lounge on the Linnanmaa campus. Furthermore, some lecture halls are freely available to students outside teaching hours.

How to book a study space?

You can search for and book a suitable space using MazeMap, which is available via a web browser or a mobile app. Booking a space requires logging into the service with your university credentials. Detailed booking instructions can be found on the ICT page.

You can download MazeMap to your phone from the app stores.

Students' 24/7 Campus Card makes study facilities available around the clock. The card is mandatory if you use the spaces outside campus opening hours.
