Study facilities

The cubes in Linnanmaa campus are intended for multi-location group work and media production. On the Linnanmaa campus, the cubes are yellow placed at two points between the central hall and the main building and three cubes are at Poukama.

Students and staff can book cubes through the Outlook calendar of O365 service.

The cubes are for 5 people at a time. The cubes are soundproofed, and it is possible to frost the glass walls to make working in cubes more private.

Group work cubes Laine, Luoto, Civitas ja Commercium (Linnanmaa)

The technology of group work cubes enables multi-media work, and the premises have high-quality audio and video. The facilities are well suited for research and teaching, as the AV technology is compatible with hybrid lecture halls, group teaching facilities and research infrastructure.

Media production cube Riutta (Linnanmaa)

In the media production cube, it is possible to produce high-quality digital content, such as instructional videos, podcasts and digital work related to studies. The facilities are equipped with video and podcast mixers that allow the student and staff to produce various audio, video or hybrid productions. The premises have equipment for three participants, which makes different interviews and group assignments easy to implement in a soundproof media cube.
