As an ambassador you will gain valuable presentation experience, build networks and receive compensation for the work you do.

The University of Oulu’s multidisciplinary student ambassador team helps prospective applicants find their own study path by sharing authentic experiences about studying and student life in Oulu. As an ambassador, your tasks can include:

  • Content creation for the @unioulu channels
  • Student stories on digital platforms
  • Webinars and live sessions, answering applicants' questions in Goin' app
  • Visits to schools and fairs, like Hakijan päivä, and campus tours

We are looking for bachelor’s and master’s degree students from all degree programmes at the University of Oulu. Previous experience in public speaking or marketing is not required, just willingness to help prospective students by sharing your own study experience is enough. New ambassadors will participate in training sessions during autumn 2026 covering presentation skills, school visits, and social media content creation.

What’s in it for you? You will gain increased confidence in presenting, develop practical work life skills, build networks with fellow students and university staff and receive compensation for your completed ambassador tasks.
