With the Ask Me! campaign, we welcome new students to the University of Oulu

Where can I find the right lecture hall? How do I register for courses? Where can I get lunch? At the start of your studies, all kinds of questions may come to mind and experienced students or staff might just have the answers. So don’t hesitate to ask — we’re here to help!

The campaign will be visible on the Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses during September 2025. Look for the pink Ask Me! logo to spot the campaign.

Are you a continuing student or staff member and would like to wear a badge?

Sign up now to join the campaign and get an Ask Me! badge – it shows others you’re open to being asked.
The fastest students to sign up will also receive a unique Ask Me! overall patch!

Campaign days on September:

September 3, 11:00–13:00 at Linnanmaa, Green Coat Racks

September 11, 12:00–17:00 at Linnanmaa, at the Hurmos day event (you’ll find us at the Learning Support and Wellbeing Center’s stand)

You can also pick up badges at the university’s Welcome Desk in front of the Career Centre throughout Orientation Week, 1–5 September.

You can wear the badge during the campaign from Orientation until the end of September.
