Master’s degree programme in Education and Globalisation / Education for Global Futures (EdGlo) has become a cornerstone of growth and learning for hundreds of students and alumni, over the past two decades. The programme is now stepping into the next chapter – guided by the strategic directions of the University of Oulu and the European Union – and investing in a renewal of the programme. The vision for Edglo remains alike, but the renewal aims to enhance both the content and structure of the programme during the upcoming academic year to ensure that the community continues to thrive and lead with innovation. This will be facilitated by pausing the intake of students for the academic year 2026-2027, investing this time in development for the next academic year.

While these changes are being prepared, the students remain to be top priority for the programme. They can be assured that their learning journey will continue to be supported with the same care, attention, and dedication that have always defined the program.
