Free courses for the new graduates

The University of Oulu offers the opportunity, for those who have completed their master’s degree between 1.1.-31.7.2021, to study in the Open University free of charge during the academic year 2021-2022. Registration to the studies starts in August 2021. Exact registration time will be announced later.

Please note, that the Open University courses free of charge only applies to the University of Oulu's own courses, not to the courses of partner institutions. For some studies, there might be limited number of participants.

You can find the Open University courses of the academic year 2020-2021 here https://www.oulu.fi/openuniversity/course-search. The courses of the academic year 2021-2022 will be published on the new platform called JOY: https://www.oulu.fi/joy/.

To register for the studies, proceed as follows: Send a message to avoin.yliopisto (at) oulu.fi and title your message “Graduate registration”. The message must contain the following information: your name and your student number / date of birth, date of graduation, the course name and code. We will send you a free registration link for the course.
