I4WORLD Annual Communication Award
The I4WORLD Dissemination Committee established the Annual Communication Award to boost public communication efforts. I4WORLD researchers can propose only one activity, which must involve public communication and be self-implemented. Evaluation criteria include clarity, effectiveness, creativity and accessibility.

This year, the Committee received excellent and versatile proposals by researchers, including blog posts, science fair demonstrations, school visits and social media writings. We encourage researchers to continue with their communication efforts!
The Dissemination committee granted the Annual Communication Award 2025 to doctoral researcher Daria Gracheva. She was communicating her work “Looking Inside the Mysterious Underground“ at the Science is Wonderful! EU Science fair in Brussels. She drew school children in creative, interactive and versatile ways to participate in the activities and to get excited on very complex topics.
The Dissemination committee opens the next Annual communication Award 2026 call early next year.
