Interruption of electricity supply in Linnanmaa
There was an interruption in electricity distribution today due to a fault in part of the area of Oulun Energian Sähköverkko Oy. The interruption concerned, among others, the Linnanmaa campus.
The information systems functioned normally during the outage, but network communications on campus did not. In other words, systems and services could be used normally if there was an internet connection on your computer. In a similar situation, it is a good idea to use a network connection of your phone on your laptop if there is a charge left in the batteries of both devices.
