Oulu and Tokyo universities team up for cutting-edge research and education collaboration

The University of Oulu and The University of Tokyo announce an academic and scientific collaboration agreement. The agreement aims to promote student and faculty exchanges, joint education and research activities, worldwide industry-academia collaborations, joint workshops and symposia, and other types of cooperation.
Finland and Japan agree on 6G technology cooperation

This five-year collaboration agreement is a commitment to mutual respect and equality and creates shared interests between the two institutions. Through dialogue on specific objectives, both sides will come together to fulfil the goals of the cooperation.



"We are delighted to announce this collaboration agreement with the University of Tokyo, allowing the University of Oulu to extend our academic and research capacities with a partner from Japan. We look forward to working alongside our peers in an effort for scholarly progress, states the University of Oulu's Vice Rector Arto Maaninen.

Professor Matti Latva-aho from the University of Oulu and professor Akihiro Nakao from The University of Tokyo will lead the newly established collaboration agreement.
