Why join?

The groups are a space to share experiences, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the challenges and rewards of supervising doctoral researchers.

  • For experienced supervisors, it is an opportunity to share your knowledge, support colleagues, and gain perspectives from others. Your insights and encouragement can make a lasting impact, fostering confidence, curiosity, and growth.
  • For newer supervisors, it is a chance to learn from the experience of others, build peer connections, and discuss questions and challenges in a supportive environment.

The interdisciplinary mentoring groups will allow you to speak candidly about challenges as well as benefit from perspectives that go beyond the conventions of your own field.

By joining Mentoring Lite, you will have opportunities to strengthen your own supervision skills as well as to contribute to a community of learning and support which is increasingly useful in today’s supervision landscape.
