Save the date: PhD Supervisors’ Academy Opening Event (for supervisors)

The University of Oulu Graduate School is launching its PhD Supervisors’ Academy in December 2025. The Academy provides supervisors with support, training, networking opportunities, and mentoring activities.

The opening event on December 11, 2025, 12-13 PM will feature a keynote presentation on themes of supervision, while coffee is served. In addition, the Director of the Graduate School Annu Perttunen will introduce the Academy.

The afternoon will continue with a workshop for PhD supervisors led by Associate Professor Mette Krogh Christensen (Aarhus University). She is an internationally recognized expert who specializes on PhD supervision and its development.
