- Summer internships available: https://www.hip.fi/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/HIP_SUMMER_JOBS_IN_2026_v20251128.pdf
The info session will be held on 16.1.2026 starting at 14:15 on Zoom (a link to the info will be published on HIP's website above, closer to date).
HIP's internship program is especially open to master's level students in physics, data- and computer science, software engineering and electric and mechanical engineering.
How to apply
You can apply for HIP's summer internship by filling in the form on HIP's website by 26.1.2026. In this case, all applications, transcripts of records, CVs and certificates of employment must be held at CERN's Finland office.
The application takes place directly according to the instructions of the programs.
The University of Oulu has a quota of one student for HIP places. Students apply for positions according to their own interests. HIP's research groups make the selection. After that, the selected student from Oulu submits an internship subsidy application to SoleMove in the normal way. As additional information, the internship subsidy is recorded in the internship agreement that the internship subsidy is in accordance with HIP's recommendation (higher than what is usually paid for internships in Finland).
More information about the University of Oulu's internship subsidy and how to apply for it is available on the For Students website or by email: opiskeluntuki@oulu.fi.
