The university board decided on bonuses
At its meeting on 30 May 2023, the board of directors of the University of Oulu has decided on performance bonuses for the year 2022 for the target groups of the bonus program, which are heads of research units, deans and deans of education, the rectors and heads of service functions.
Performance bonuses based on strategic goals and personal success will be paid in June. The board decided to abolish the current performance bonus program and leave the reform of the program for further preparation.
Varma Portfolio Manager Kateryna Diesen will start as a new member of the university's investment committee on June 1. She brings expertise in alternative investments to the committee.
The board marked for information the reporting of personnel matters, the rector's review, the situation of the campus project and the facility matters of the Oulu Teacher Training School.
The update of the university's investment policy, which was on the agenda, remains in further preparation.
