The University Collegium invites supplementary suggestions for external board members by 10 May
The term of four external members of the University Board of Directors ends, at the latest, by the end of 2023. University Collegium appoints external members for the term ending on December 31st, 2025. The collegium is now inviting supplementary suggestions from the University of Oulu academic community for external board members, i.e., persons who are not university staff or students.
The Collegium is especially hoping for proposals for candidates with a vision of the implementation, development, and future of the university’s role as a provider of “Bildung” or “sivistys”, the highest level of academic education and research. Previously submitted suggestions do not have to be resubmitted. The collegium will make use of the submitted suggestions in the selection process.
External members must represent a wide range of expertise in the sciences or arts in the field of operation of the university (Universities Act 15§).
Collegium does not collect personal data of the proposers. Collegium will not handle proposals that contain sensitive or otherwise inappropriate information.
