University of Oulu among the best 350 in the Times Higher Education ranking

In 2021, the ranking was 251–300. Compared to the results of last year, the ranking fell in all the main categories evaluated: education, research, citations, international outlook and industry income. However, the scores have increased in two main categories: research and international outlook. When it comes to individual indicators, both reputation indicators have continued to rise.

This year almost 1,800 universities from almost 100 countries participated in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Among them, University of Oulu reached the top quarter in the two main categories. The university's best main category was still research, with a ranking of 297.
