The University of Oulu rises in the latest Times Higher Education ranking
The University of Oulu excelled in the category that evaluates research quality. In addition to research quality, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings assess teaching, research environment, international outlook, and industry collaboration.
This year, a total of ten Finnish universities made it to the ranking. In the national comparison, the University of Oulu secured a shared third place in the ranking. Ahead of it were the University of Helsinki and Aalto University.
In the comparison, more than 1,900 universities from around the world participated. There were over a hundred more universities being evaluated in this year's ranking compared to last year.
There have been changes in the methodology compared to previous years. In 2022, the University of Oulu was ranked between 301 and 350.
