Welcome to the Cinema Club!

This time the club will be watching Get Out (Jordan Peele, 2017). Get Out tells the story of a young African-American man who travels to meet his white girlfriend’s family for the first time. At first, the visit seems to be going well, but as the weekend progresses, the visit begins to take nightmarish turns. Get Out is a satirical horror film dealing with racism.

The purpose of the Cinema Club is to enjoy movies, but also to have enriching discussions and deeper understandings of the themes.
