Women in Hydrogen Oulu
Women in Hydrogen Oulu (WinH2Oulu) is a networking community that brings together women working in, studying, or interested in the hydrogen sector in the Oulu region. The network was established to strengthen connections between women across hydrogen research, education, and industry, while increasing the visibility of their expertise and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
Hydrogen research and innovation are inherently multidisciplinary, spanning fields from engineering and physics to chemistry, social sciences, and industrial applications. Women in Hydrogen Oulu provides a platform where experts, students, and professionals can exchange ideas, share experiences, build professional networks, and explore new research and career opportunities. The network welcomes both experienced professionals and those who are just beginning their journey in the hydrogen field.
As part of the growing hydrogen ecosystem in Oulu, the network supports closer collaboration between academia and industry and contributes to building a diverse, inclusive, and internationally connected hydrogen community. Inspired by the global Women in Green Hydrogen initiative and connected to the national Women in Hydrogen Finland network, WinH2Oulu aims to foster meaningful connections that help advance both individual careers and the wider hydrogen transition.
Whether you are a researcher, student, industry professional, or simply interested in the future of hydrogen, Women in Hydrogen Oulu offers an opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to a growing community of experts shaping the hydrogen economy.
WinH2Oulu is supported by PROFI7 H2FUTURE research programme.
