Alanur Ahsen Dalyanci

Alanur Ahsen Dalyanci is a Doctoral Researcher at the CHIMES Research Unit, University of Oulu. Her research is situated at the intersection of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), teacher education, and learning sciences. She is particularly interested in how teachers integrate AI in pedagogically meaningful and ethically responsible ways.

She holds a BSc in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology from the Middle East Technical University (METU). She also has a master’s degree in Educational Studies from KU Leuven. Her academic trajectory bridges education, psychology, and artificial intelligence.

Her doctoral work draws on the Intelligent-TPACK and AI literacy frameworks to investigate how teachers and teacher educators develop professional knowledge, ethical awareness, and pedagogical agency for GenAI-supported instruction. She is actively involved in the research project titled The Power of Teachers' Online Mentorship for AI Partnership (Power-T/A), funded by the Research Council of Finland. The project explores teachers’ mentoring roles in AI-supported digital environments. It also examines how AI literacy and prompt engineering competencies can strengthen teachers’ agency and adaptive pedagogical practices.
