Anna-Liisa Kaasila-Pakanen

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oulu Business School. Grounded in postcolonial, decolonial, and feminist thought, my research brings together questions of diversity, inclusion, and inequality across social, organizational, and academic spheres. I employ writing as a method of inquiry to explore the creative, affective, and embodied dimensions of knowledge production. Through a commitment to vulnerability, relationality, and care, my work disrupts dominant epistemologies to foster possibilities for non-colonizing solidarities. I also serve on the editorial board of the newly established journal Feminism and Organization, and my work has been published in journals such as Organization, Gender, Work & Organization, Management Learning, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, and in various edited volumes.
