My current research interest is in science teacher education, including how pre-service teachers’ socio-historical pasts and future-oriented identity work are involved in science teacher identity development. The participants in my research are pre-service elementary teachers as well as pre-service subjects teachers in teacher education. My interests includes also understanding pre-service teachers’ beliefs of inquiry-based teaching and learning, and of environmental and sustainability education. The theoretical constructs of my research are teacher identity development, teacher beliefs and teacher change. Methodologically, my research relies on narrative-based approach.
