                                    Research is linked to the EU H2020 project, WATERAGRI, and FARMWISE related to the sustainability assessment for local management of water and nutrients in agricultural areas. The work includes an assessment of sustainable water management in agriculture and nutrient retention methods used in the EU, considering their environmental, economic, and social aspects. Holds MSc. in Water Resources Engineering from Tribhuvan University Nepal and Also MSc. In water management specializing in water conflict management from UNESCO-IHE, Delft, Netherlands. Besides this holds a special course in Farm Water Management from JICA-Sapporo, Japan, and Water Diplomacy from Clingendael Institute, Netherlands.
Working in the water sector since 2010. Initially, as an Ast. Lecturer for "Hydraulics" and "Irrigation & Drainage Engineering" by use of theoretical reasoning, practical works & fieldwork. Then, for the Government of Nepal under the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEWRI) as an Engineer and Senior Divisional Engineer in Development Division, Management Division, Department of Water-Induced Disaster Management (DWIDM), Donor-funded Project (KFAED) and National Pride Projects. I have also worked as a freelance consultant for various small and medium irrigation projects in Nepal and other places.
