My research focuses on socially shared regulation of learning (SSRL) and collaborative interaction in technology-enhanced learning environments. Within the EU-funded TAICo (Teacher-AI Complementarity) project, which explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be ethically and effectively integrated into education to complement and empower the teaching profession, I study how students, teachers, and AI agents interact during collaborative learning tasks. My research examines how regulatory and metacognitive processes unfold through group dialogue and how AI-supported tools can complement teacher guidance to foster meaningful socially shared regulation without reducing learners’ active participation.
