Elias Oikarinen

Elias Oikarinen’s main research interests are housing markets, real estate investments, and the econometric modeling of real estate markets. He also studies e.g. interaction between credit and real estate markets. Several of his papers have appeared in the leading international urban economics and real estate journals, and he is in the editorial board’s of Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, Journal of European Real Estate Research and Journal of the Finnish Economic Association. He is and Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Economics at the Aalto University, and he has been a Visiting Scholar in the University of Cambridge, the University of Geneva, and the University of Melbourne.
