Focus areas and research projects

In economics, our research focuses on behavioral, health and energy economics.

Our research in accounting concentrates on the role of managerial traits in insider trading, tax noncompliance and other business outcomes by exploiting unique person-level data on managers. Management control systems and public sector accounting is another focus area in our research.

In finance, our research focuses in large part on behavioral finance. In particular, we look at factors affecting the behavior of individual investors.

Check out below examples of ongoing research projects in which we are involved.
