Filipp Temerov
PhD
Project Coordinator
I am a researcher specialising in hydrogen technologies, renewable energy systems, and materials chemistry at the Nano and Molecular Systems (NANOMO) Research Unit, University of Oulu. I serve as the Principal Investigator of the H2BRIDGE project (Interreg Aurora) and the Coordinator of the H2FUTURE programme Profi7, where I lead research activities on hydrogen production, materials development, and the creation of new hydrogen-related infrastructures in Northern Finland.
My work focuses on sustainable hydrogen production, including photocatalytic materials, printed reactor concepts, and emerging solutions suited for Arctic conditions. I actively develop cross-border research cooperation and innovation ecosystems, working closely with Finnish, Nordic, and European partners to advance the green transition and strengthen regional resilience.
My academic background includes a PhD in materials chemistry and broad experience in spectroscopy, photocatalysis, and interdisciplinary project management. I am involved in EU-level hydrogen and energy research platforms and maintain strong networks with industry, research organisations, and policy actors.
