Hanna Pulkkinen

I am a doctoral researcher in applied mathematics, working in the Inverse Problems group within the Research Unit of Mathematics. My research focuses on inverse problems with applications in medical imaging, particularly photoacoustic tomography. In particular, I study the effects of limited-view geometries and develop methods, including neural network–based approaches, to mitigate the resulting imaging artifacts.
