Ifra Arif received her MS degree in Computer System Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in 2018. During her Master's, she specialized in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. She was associated with "Big Data Mining and Multimedia" research group in UAE where she worked on various academic-industrial projects. Before joining University of Oulu, she was working as a full-time researcher in UAE University.
She is selected in top 25 candidates of I4WORLD Doctoral Programme co-funded by the European Union and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Her research work is dedicated to theme of human health and wellbeing to ensure healthy life using her expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning-
At present she is working on improving medical and diagnostic procedures for effective disease prediction.
