Inkeri Markkula

My background is multidisciplinary. I have a PhD in ecology but have also studied environmental science, cultural anthropology and folklore. My research interests include both cultural and ecological consequences of global change in Arctic and sub-Arctic areas, in particular the impacts of climate warming on indigenous cultures and livelihoods, ecosystem services and soil ecosystems.
