I am interested in human social interaction, communication and attention, and all things autism. I am currently involved in multidisciplinary projects examining i) social-pragmatic communication skills of children and young adults on the autism spectrum, ii) speechreading skills in children with and without impaired hearing, iii) student teachers' attitudes towards autism, and iv) peer interactions involving children on the autism spectrum.

Previously I have studied Psychology at the University of Eastern Finland (MA 2012, PhD 2017). In my PhD research, I applied multimodally informed conversation analysis to examine video recordings and mobile eye tracking data involving children on the autism spectrum.
