Postdoctoral Researcher
Materials science
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Future Manufacturing Technologies (FMT) group at the University of Oulu. My research focuses on the development and processing of advanced materials through additive manufacturing and welding, with applications ranging from industrial components to biomedical implants.
I hold a Doctoral degree in Materials Science and Engineering and have engaged in multidisciplinary research projects across Finland, China, and Egypt, collaborating with both academic institutions and industrial partners.
My expertise includes hydrogen embrittlement studies, welding technologies, failure analysis, and the design of lightweight lattice structures. I am also actively working on advanced composite coatings to enhance the biological performance of metallic scaffolds, combining materials engineering with in vitro and in vivo assessments for biomedical applications.
My mission is to develop sustainable, high-performance materials and technologies that address critical industrial and biomedical challenges. By integrating additive manufacturing, surface engineering, and biological testing, I aim to advance the development of smart implant systems and engineered structures that contribute to both health and sustainability. I seek to bridge research with application and drive innovation at the intersection of materials science and real-world impact.
