Merja Kallio

Merja Kallio is a Pediatric Cardiologist and Postdoctoral Researcher in PEDEGO Research Unit, University of Oulu and Oulu University Hospital. She graduated from University of Eastern Finland in 2004 and has specialized in pediatrics (2010, University of Oulu) and pediatric cardiology (2014, University of Helsinki). She carried out her PhD research on pediatric ventilation: Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA) in Pediatric Intensive Care, at Oulu University Hospital (2014). Her main research interests are pediatric ventilation and intensive care.
