Phuong Tran

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu (CWC-UOulu), Finland. I received my B.E. degree in Information Systems from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, in 2020, and my M.E. degree in Big Data from Chung-Ang University, South Korea, in 2024. From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a Software Engineer at Viettel Digital Services, Viettel Group, Vietnam. In 2024, I was a Research Assistant at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, conducting research in deep learning for physical layer wireless communications.

My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and wireless communications. I focus on developing scalable and low-complexity solutions for advanced wireless systems, including cell-free massive MIMO and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, using techniques such as deep reinforcement learning, deep unfolding, and graph neural networks.
