Priscila Campioni Rodrigues

Priscila Campioni Rodrigues earned her PhD in Pathology and Oral Medicine from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2015, where she investigated the role of fascin and plectin in oral cancer. Her doctoral work provided extensive experience in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, functional in vitro assays, and scientific writing.

Currently, she works as a researcher in Gabriela Lorite’s interdisciplinary group at the Microelectronics Research Unit, University of Oulu. The group integrates physics, nanomaterials, and life sciences to develop advanced bioelectronic systems, such as in vitro models, biosensors, and stimuli-responsive scaffolds.

Dr. Rodrigues bridges molecular and cell biology with technological approaches to study how physical stimuli, including static magnetic fields, affect key cellular processes including growth, migration, invasion, and molecular synthesis. Her work aims to deepen our understanding of how physical stimuli influence cellular behavior and to support the development of innovative tools for biomedical applications.
