Rashid Dehkordi

Rashid Dehkordi is a Marie-Sklodowska Curie researcher within the LNETN project. In his research, Rashid studies how new, innovative business models emerge and are legitimated within new ecosystems such as Smart Energy that require inter alia changes in procedures and processes, work practices, managerial, environmental, and social - intended and unintended. With a research focus on challenges of legitimation of newness, the project investigates the emergence and legitimation of suitable business models for smart energy grids enabled by next-generation communication technologies, such as 5G, envisioning new energy ecosystems and business models to enable smart grids to realize its full potential.
Rashid received his PhD in Economics and Business Administration, and an MSc in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems). His research interests include Smart Energy, Power systems, Business models, and Energy Market. His supervisory team consists of Petri Ahokangas (University of Oulu), Natasha Evers (Trinity College Dublin), Seppo Yrjola (NOKIA)
