As a PostDoc fellow, I am affiliated with the Disease Networks unit in the group of Associate Professor Daniela Ungureanu. My research is mainly focused on understanding the underlying mechanisms of cancer and obesity. With a background in cancer research, extracellular matrix, and hypoxia, I have been studying the effects of visceral adipocytes on cancer cells, with the goal of developing a common model that can be used to better understand and treat cancer in obese patients.
