I work as a doctoral researcher with a major in sociology and gender studies. In my interdisciplinary research, I explore intergenerationality, (childhood) memories, and class as sociomaterial, affective, and corporeal processes. I draw on my previous background as an occupational therapist to approach these themes through creative methods. My research is funded by the University of Oulu Graduate School UniOGS with a four-year grant, and by the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation with a one-year working grant.
My research interests lie particularly in feminist posthumanist philosophies and social phenomena related to inequality. I am affiliated with the SkyHub (Social and Gender Responsible Education and Research) and the FIRE research collective at the University of Oulu.
