I work as a doctoral researcher with a major in sociology and gender studies. In my interdisciplinary research, I explore intergenerationality, (childhood) memories, and class as sociomaterial and affective processes. Drawing on my previous background as an occupational therapist, I approach these themes through creative methods. My research is funded by the University of Oulu Graduate School UniOGS with a four-year grant, and by the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation with a one-year working grant.
I draw from posthuman feminism and affective perspectives to rethink social phenomena entangled with inequality. I am affiliated with the SkyHub (Social and Gender Responsible Education and Research) and the FIRE research collective at the University of Oulu.
