I work as a doctoral researcher with a major in sociology and gender studies. In my interdisciplinary research, I explore intergenerationality, (childhood) memories, and class as sociomaterial and affective processes. Drawing on my background as an occupational therapist and special education teacher, I approach these themes through creative methods, informed by posthuman feminisms and affective perspectives to rethink social phenomena entangled with inequality. My research is funded by the University of Oulu Graduate School UniOGS with a four-year grant, and by the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation with a one-year working grant.
