Vesa-Pekka Herva is Professor and Head of Archaeology. His research interests span from prehistoric to contemporary archaeology and heritage in north-eastern Europe. He has studied a range of topics from the dynamics of Neolithization in the boreal zone to early modern worldviews and uses of heritage in Lapland Christmas tourism.
