My speciality is sustainable energy systems research with AI methods. Currently engaged in demand side management and power systems flexibility studies where I am developing a machine learning short-term (~24h) power systems forecasting model. The model forecasts selected environmental indicators of consumed electricity, such as its emissions intensity and share of renewable energy. By forecasting these indicators and making them available to electricity consumers, we aim to study the flexibility and emissions saving potential of information based demand side management.
