Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering
Doctoral researcher at the Biomimetics and intelligent systems group, University of Oulu. As part of the Oulu University Secure Programming Group (OUSPG), I am exploring security challenges in quantum computing systems and AI-driven approaches to mitigate emerging threats. My research focuses on quantum cybersecurity, particularly the use of AI/ML and agentic AI to detect threats in quantum computing environments.
I hold a master's degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, and a bachelor's degree in electrical (telecommunication) engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan.
My broader research interests include quantum computing, hybrid intelligence, secure software development, machine learning, vulnerability classification, and cloud/network security. I have been actively involved in research projects combining empirical methods with technical implementations to address current and future cybersecurity challenges.
