Biography, Antony George, Ph.D., Rice University, Houston, USA

Dr. Antony George (born in Kerala, India) obtained his PhD in December 2011 from MESA+ institute for Nanotechnology, University of Twente, Netherlands under guidance of Prof. André ten Elshof. His PhD research was focused on soft lithographic patterning of functional materials. Currently Dr. George is working as a post-doctoral researcher at Prof. Ajayan’s research group at Rice University, USA. His research at Rice is funded by Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) and is concerned with growth and fabrication of nanoscale devices using two dimensional layered materials. His research interests are micro/ nanofabrication of devices using materials such as nanowires, nanotubes, PZT, BTO, ZnO, graphene, MoS2 etc.
