Research professor
System based management, innovation management, sustainable circular economy
Pekka is the research professor in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) since 2018. He is also the director of Smarter & Greener Industry in Oulu Innovation Alliance since 2018. Pekka has been working in the University of Oulu since 2012. During 2012-2017 he worked as the director of Centre for Environment and Energy (CEE). Pekka also has over 17 year experience of managing positions in steel industry, mainly in business and operational excellence, innovation management and ESSQ management. Pekka graduated on D.Sc. (Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2010 in University of Oulu. He received his docentship in 2016.
